Talking Hamster is a voice altering app for Symbian phones that allows you to make a hamster repeat anything you say. The app is from the same developer responsible for Puppy Talk.
Simply install and load Talking Hamster, then speak into your phone's microphone. The hamster will repeat back what you've said in a funny high-pitched voice. At the same time, the cute creature will move his mouth so it actually looks like he's saying it.
Tap the Song option in Talking Hamster and the rodent will perform his own squeaky rendition of Happy Birthday. Unfortunately that's the only song he knows though (unless you sing another one at him!)
Although it's fun to play around with Talking Hamster, the app could do with a few more options to make it worth keeping on your phone. For instance, there's no option for controlling the tempo of the voice, and there's only one character to choose from.
Talking Hamster is fun to play around with for a while, but the novelty soon wears off.
